All Sales Are Final

At Mattress Planet & Furniture, we carefully inspect and confirm merchandise with customers before purchase. All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, personal preference, or any other reason not required by applicable law.

1. No Returns or Refunds

Once an order has been placed and payment has been processed, the sale is considered final.

We do not accept returns or provide refunds for:

• Change of mind

• Incorrect size, colour, style, or model selected by the customer

• Furniture that does not fit through a doorway, hallway, staircase, elevator, or into the customer's home

• Customer preference or dissatisfaction with the appearance of an item after purchase

• Mattresses that have been opened, used, slept on, or removed from their original packaging

• Clearance, sale, promotional, or discounted merchandise

• Custom or special-order products

• Items ordered specifically for a customer

• Delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control

Customers are responsible for confirming the product, dimensions, colour, configuration, size, and other specifications before completing their purchase.

2. Furniture & Mattress Purchases

Customers are encouraged to inspect merchandise and confirm measurements before completing their purchase.

For furniture purchases, customers are responsible for ensuring that the merchandise will fit in their intended room and that there is sufficient access for delivery, including doorways, hallways, stairs, elevators, and other access points.

Mattresses and bedding products that have been opened or used are not eligible for return or refund.

3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Merchandise

Our all-sales-final policy does not limit any rights or remedies that a customer may have under applicable Ontario or Canadian law.

If merchandise arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what was ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery or receipt.

Where appropriate, we may arrange for the merchandise to be inspected, repaired, replaced, or otherwise resolved in accordance with the applicable manufacturer warranty and/or applicable law.

4. Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty.

Manufacturer warranties are subject to the individual manufacturer's terms and conditions. Warranty coverage may vary by product and may exclude damage caused by misuse, improper installation, accidents, normal wear and tear, or other exclusions specified by the manufacturer.

A manufacturer's warranty does not constitute a general return or refund policy.

5. Delivery & Inspection

Customers should inspect their merchandise at the time of delivery whenever possible.

Any visible damage should be reported to the delivery team before accepting the merchandise and documented with photographs where appropriate.

If an issue is discovered after delivery, please contact us promptly so that we can determine the appropriate next step.

6. Order Changes & Cancellations

Because many of our products are ordered, reserved, prepared, or specially sourced for individual customers, order cancellations are not guaranteed once an order has been processed.

Custom, special-order, or supplier-ordered merchandise cannot be cancelled where the cancellation is not permitted by the applicable agreement or law.

7. Legal Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, restricted, or limited under applicable law.

Where applicable law requires a cancellation, refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy, those legal requirements will apply.

Mattress Warranty Disclaimer

Mattress Planet & Furniture provides mattresses that may be covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty coverage is subject to the specific terms, conditions, exclusions, and requirements applicable to the mattress purchased.

Warranty Exclusions & Conditions

• Normal wear and tear resulting from regular use is not covered under warranty.

• Physical damage, including cuts, tears, punctures, burns, damage caused by sharp objects, water damage, moisture damage, or other damage caused after purchase, is excluded from warranty coverage.

• If the mattress develops a visible bump, lump, or significant body impression measuring approximately 2–3 inches, and the issue is determined to qualify under the applicable warranty terms, Mattress Planet & Furniture may provide a one-time replacement. Warranty eligibility is subject to inspection and the applicable manufacturer's warranty requirements.

• Any redelivery, transportation, inspection, or service fees associated with a warranty claim are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by applicable law or the applicable manufacturer's warranty.

• To maintain warranty eligibility, customers are required to use a proper mattress protector, particularly where the mattress is being used without a traditional box spring. Customers must also use an appropriate foundation, platform, or bed frame that meets the manufacturer's support requirements.

• We recommend rotating the mattress regularly according to the manufacturer's recommendations to help promote even wear and extend the mattress's durability and lifespan.

• Warranty claims require the original purchase bill, receipt, or other acceptable proof of purchase/payment.

• Mattresses with stains, marks, bodily fluids, spills, water damage, moisture damage, or other liquid contamination may be excluded from warranty service due to hygiene, sanitation, and manufacturer warranty requirements.

Warranty Assessment

All warranty claims are subject to inspection and assessment. A reported issue does not automatically qualify for a warranty replacement.

Mattress Planet & Furniture reserves the right to inspect the mattress and determine whether the reported issue appears to fall within the applicable warranty terms. Where a manufacturer's warranty applies, the final determination of warranty coverage may be made in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms.

A warranty does not cover customer preference or dissatisfaction with the mattress's firmness, softness, comfort, feel, height, or sleeping experience unless otherwise specifically stated in the applicable warranty.

No Transfer or Modification of Warranty

Warranty coverage is subject to the original manufacturer's warranty terms and may be limited to the original purchaser. Customers should retain their original receipt and warranty documentation.
